The Houghton Main Street Foundation honors the legacy of the late former Congressman Amo Houghton, and supports his mission of encouraging more women to get involved in Congress and policy making.

As a Member of Congress, the Hon. Amo Houghton and current Women2Women President Sarah Chamberlain worked together to connect women across Hon. Houghton’s New York Congressional District to discuss policy, and to encourage women to get out to vote.

Today - that concept spans the nation, and the Women2Women movement is connecting women in every corner of the United States.

Through the Houghton Main Street Foundation, young women are selected as Houghton fellows, and are financially supported to work in Congressional offices on Capitol Hill through the Houghton Main Street Fellowship.
